En este documento, Sanden especifica que los únicos refrigerantes homologados son R134a y 1234yf. El uso de otras alternativas anula cualquier garantía que los compresores puedan tener.

Compressors produced by Sanden for use in automotive air conditioning systems are
designed to be used with the following refrigerants:
- R134a
- R1234yf
Sanden approved compressor oils are:
- SP-10
- SP-15
- SP-20
- SP-A2
- Sanden AC Edge oil
For further information on the different types of Sanden approved compressor model
refrigerant and oil, please contact your usual Sanden representative.
Sanden will not provide any warranty on Sanden compressors that have been used
with any other refrigerant or oil other than those approved by Sanden.
